A maioria das ligas mundiais têm 'Play-Offs de Promoção' para ajudar a decidir que é promovido ao próximo degrau da pirâmide. Pode ser disputado num jogo a eliminar ou numa série de jogos jogados após o término da época regular com o objetivo de determinar que é promovido juntamente com os clubes que tiveram promoção automática.

For Mundos de Jogo Padrão (excluding Mundos de Jogo Personalizados as there is an option within ‘Advanced Rules’ of whether to include them or not) this means that the teams finishing in the play off places will contest the ‘Promotion Play-Offs’.

The semi-finals will be a one off match, with 6th playing 3rd and 5th playing 4th for example, and the home team being the higher placed team. The Final will be played at a neutral stadium and again would be a one off match, with the winner securing promotion to the next tier of the league pyramid.
